robbie

Solo Trombone - Robbie Steel - Band Secretary

Robbie is a very valuable part of the band being our Secretary and Contest Secretary, but who else could be more perfect as the Royal Marine Band Secretary for Plymouth Band!

hannah

2nd Trombone - Hannah Vodden

Hannah joined the band a couple of years ago and is the daughter of Shelia and Paul. She has recently finished studying at Bicton College and has begun a Childcare course at Exeter College.

bev

2nd Trombone - Bev Brown (nee Jacques)

Bev used to play the Trombone as a child and had a break of about 20 years. She was eventually persuaded to take up the Trombone again! Bev is a Maths teacher in Torquay.

Andy

Bass Trombone - Ken Cassidy

Originally from Glasgow, Ken has lived in Devon for 23 years.  Since taking up Bass Trombone at the age of 16 he has held that position for a number of orchestras and bands across the UK: in Scotland (Govan Band, Newmains), in Wales (BTM) and in England (Torbay, Sun Life, St. Austell and Soundhouse Brass).  Until recently he was the Group Property Manager for a national blue chip company and now splits his time between playing the Bass Trombone, working as a freelance Project Consultant and developing his overly large garden - a real work/life balance and one that keeps him busy!
