We are currently looking for tuned (glockenspiel, xylophone, tubular bells etc) and untuned (kit) players.

P/T Percussion - Colin Dance email

Colin, the bands own Policeman began playing in 1971 with Lympstone. He has been involved with the Police Band and the British Police Symphony Orchestra. In 2000 Colin won best Drum Major whilst with the Royal Navy Band, HMS Drake. Colin gained a fine reputation for his Soprano playing with the band and after a short break returned on Bb Cornet and now heads the Percussion section. Colin has recently gained a First Class BA(Hons) degree in Band Studies and also conducts the City of Exeter Railway Band. He is a very accomplished arranger and composer which comes in very handy! Percussion - Helen Thompson

Helen is also an accomplished pianist and clarinettist. Even though those talents do not get shown off in our bandroom, they do when she is at work as she is in the Royal Marine Band.

Chris has played with the band on and off since he was a child, however work commitments prevent him from playing with us full time.
